Ongoing Research and Development Initiatives
Fischerchem Pte Ltd is committed to driving innovation in mineral processing through strategic research and development. Our current projects are focused on creating advanced, high-performance, and sustainable solutions that address the key challenges facing the mining industry. These initiatives include:
- Liquid Xanthate Technology: We have successfully developed a 100% active liquid xanthate with a guaranteed shelf life of over 12 months. This product provides a safer, more stable, and logistically simpler alternative to traditional solid xanthates, leading to improved operational efficiency and reduced waste.
- Novel Gold Collector Chemistry: Our team has created next-generation mercaptan-based gold collectors that resolve the long-standing issues of froth flattening and strong odours associated with traditional mercaptan products. This advanced chemistry ensures high gold recovery while enhancing the working environment.
- Environmentally Sustainable Biofrothers: We have pioneered the development of certified green biofrothers derived from a vegetable hydrocarbon backbone. This patented technology offers a range of high-performance frothers with a significantly improved ESG profile, enabling our clients to achieve their sustainability goals without compromising on metallurgical performance.
- Fine particle flotation: Lower grade ore bodies often require finer grinding to liberate valuable minerals for flotation. Fischerchem is developing new chemistry to improve fine particle flotation without the need for expensive mechanical modifications.
